How do I manage a deceased estate account?

We understand that losing a loved one is difficult & emotional. We will do everything we can to help you with their energy accounts, ensuring the process is easy and simple.

Here are some options to help manage your loved one's accounts:

Temporarily keeping the account open

Keeping the account open temporarily before cancellation of the account is something we are happy to organise for you. Chat with one of our friendly team members below.

Transfer the account to someone else

If you require the power to stay on at the property, we can help with transferring the account into someone else's name. We will need to speak with the person taking over the account to confirm their details. Chat with one of our friendly team members below.

Close the account

If you no longer require power at the property, we can close the account and send a final bill to the estate. Chat with one of our friendly team members below.

Who can request these changes?

To request any of the above, you will need to have authority to act on their behalf. You can be any of the below:

  • Power Of Attorney
  • Trustee
  • Person managing the estate
  • The deceased's solicitor
  • Authorised contact
